Consultant resume — templates, keywords, and bullet examples

Consulting resumes — for MBB and beyond — reward the action-verb / quantified-impact structure and the conservative single-column format.

How to angle a consultant resume

The McKinsey-style bullet pattern is the gold standard: lead with the action verb, name the lever, quantify the outcome. "Drove a 22% reduction in [client]'s working capital by restructuring vendor terms across 14 SKUs" beats any narrative.

Lead with Education for MBA on-campus recruiting (top of resume, with the school + degree + dates + relevant honours). Lead with Experience post-MBA.

Section order: On-campus: Education → Experience → Skills → Leadership. Off-campus: Experience → Education → Skills.

Bullet examples you can adapt

Three starter bullets following the action-verb / quantified-outcome pattern. Replace bracketed placeholders with your actual specifics — never invent.
