MBA Applicant resume — templates, keywords, and bullet examples
MBA application resumes reward leadership, impact, and quantified scope. Generic narratives — even strong ones — lose to specific outcomes.
How to angle a mba applicant resume
MBA admissions readers scan for three signals: scope (how many people / how much budget), impact (quantified outcomes), and leadership (decisions you owned). Every bullet should hit at least two of those three.
The single best rewrite move for MBA applications: convert every "helped" or "contributed to" bullet into a "led" or "owned" bullet with the specific scope. If you can't honestly write "led", you probably shouldn't be claiming it in the essay either.
Section order: Education → Experience → Leadership → Skills.
